Position SummaryThe RN Team Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and compliance of hospice clinical operations
. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care while maintaining regulatory compliance, staff development, and operational excellence
.
- Provide leadership and oversight for clinical operations and patient care delivery
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation regulations (CMS, hospice Conditions of Participation)
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines
- Oversee staff scheduling, supervision, and performance management for clinical team members
- Lead and support ongoing staff education and professional development programs
- Implement and monitor quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) programs
- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant medical record documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient-centered care and positive outcomes
- Support strategic initiatives, operational goals, and census growth
- Foster a positive, engaged, and accountable team environment
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio (or eligible to obtain)
- Minimum 5 years of healthcare experience
, including:- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience in hospice, home health, or related healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of hospice regulations, compliance standards, and clinical operations
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and administrative skills
- Experience with quality assurance/performance improvement (QAPI)
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Prior experience in Hospice
- Familiarity with EMR systems and clinical documentation platforms
- Hospice or palliative care certification (
CHPN or equivalent
