CMM Quality Inspector/Operator – Direct Hire Opportunity
1st & 2nd Shift Openings
$22-$28/hour Starting Pay (Based on Experience)
Shift Differential Available for 2nd Shift
Our client is seeking experienced CMM Quality Inspector/Operators to join a growing aerospace manufacturing team. This position is responsible for inspecting production and prototype components using CMM equipment and precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with customer and engineering specifications.
Responsibilities- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections using CMM equipment
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T
- Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot CMM machines
- Analyze measurement data and identify non-conformances
- Use precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Communicate quality concerns and inspection results to production and engineering teams
- Maintain accurate inspection and quality documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of CMM inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Calypso, OpenDMIS, or MCOSMOS software
- Experience operating ZEISS, Mitutoyo, or WENZEL CMM equipment
- Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
- Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred
1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:30pm-12:00am (Shift Differential Available)
