Product Researcher
Location:
Mason, OH, 45040
Duration: 6 Months (Potential Extension)
Pay Rate: $42.50/Hr. on W2

Position Overview
We are seeking a product researcher to support the research and development of industry-leading antiperspirant and deodorant (APDO) products. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with an experienced R&D team, performing hands-on laboratory research, analyzing experimental data, and contributing to the development of innovative consumer products. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, scientifically curious, and passionate about laboratory experimentation and product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on Experimentation:
Execute critical experimental work, including assembling prototypes, running lab tests, and meticulously documenting results to drive product improvements and solve technical challenges. - Data-Driven Insights:
Contribute to the collection and analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data from various sources, including consumer tests and technical evaluations, to inform product development decisions. - Technical Support:
Support the product development team by refining and prioritizing technical tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient innovation pipeline. - System Utilization:
Become proficient in P&G's internal systems (e.g. JMP, EPASS, Nexus/ELN, etc) to manage data, track progress, and contribute to project success. - Collaboration & Impact:
Work collaboratively within a passionate team, contributing your expertise to elevate the performance and consumer appeal of Old Spice APDO products.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong foundation in scientific principles and hands-on experimentation.
- Experience working in a laboratory or research environment.
- Ability to execute experiments while following established protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Experience documenting experimental work and maintaining accurate records.
- Basic understanding of consumer testing methodologies and technical product evaluation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Nice To Have:
- Basic experience with P&G systems (e.g. JMP, EPASS, ELN/Nexus, Enovia, etc)
