Leasing Agent

• Serve as the company’s primary sales representative for prospective residents and drive occupancy through consultative selling, relationship building, and lease conversion.
• Respond to and follow up on inquiries from prospective residents across inbound and outbound channels.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand prospect needs and preferences, present available homes in a tailored manner, overcome objections, and close leases.
• Maintain an active pipeline of prospective residents and manage follow‑up activity to maximize conversion rates and occupancy.
• Negotiate lease offers and clearly present lease terms to prospective residents.
• Execute and explain leases and related documents to incoming residents.
• Conduct all leasing activities in compliance with applicable laws and Fair Housing regulations to maximize occupancy and minimize vacancy loss.
• Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., underwriting and lease writing teams) to move applicants efficiently through the leasing process.
• Maintain current knowledge of inventory, pricing, market conditions, and company policies and procedures to position the company competitively in every sales interaction.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum three (3) years of sales or customer‑facing sales experience.
• Leasing, real estate, or property management experience preferred.
• State Real Estate License required.
• Demonstrated sales ability including prospecting, needs discovery, persuasive presentation, objection handling, and closing.
• Strong influence and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and guide prospects toward a decision with confidence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening and the ability to tailor messaging to individual prospective needs.
• Strong relationship management and customer service orientation with a genuine drive to deliver exceptional resident experience.
• Results‑oriented with a sense of urgency; motivated by performance metrics and conversion outcomes.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Performance‑driven sales role with a guaranteed monthly bonus.

The anticipated pay range/scale for this position is $25.00 hourly. Actual starting base pay will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience. This position is eligible to receive monthly bonus payments.
