GENERAL FUNCTION
Supports Small and Mid-Market Sales. Develops relationships and supports small and mid-market clients in leveraging in-market initiatives to grow sales and provide support in order to increase efficiency for the field sales teams.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Executes quote requests, follow up and facilitating sales process to exceed broker expectations.
- Leverages internal departments to facilitate sales process.
- Educates broker constituent through primarily telephonic efforts.
- Manages sales process internally.
- Develops compelling proposals to grow segment sales and support key market sales lead.
- Collaborates with external sales team to develop and execute market sales strategy.
- Collaborates with key market sales lead, execute post-quote follow-up activity to refine and achieve broker acceptance.
- Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years business experience
- Life Accident & Health Insurance License or ability to obtain license within 60 (sixty) days of hire
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Product Suite
- Comfort managing telephonic relationships
- Sales support and/or marketing experience and/or administrative experience
- Knowledge of benefits industry
- Knowledge of and/or Brokerage industry experience
- Licensed Life/Health insurance
- Demonstrates sense of urgency responding to customers
