Job Description

CPSO to join the ICR Security Team and provide support to DoD and Special Access Programs. Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with investigation date within 5 years. This multi‑faceted security position will be responsible for all aspects of security as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO). Provide guidance and implementation of contractual security requirements for engineering development labs and multi‑facility environments utilizing the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 5205.07 and Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 5205.11, ICD‑705, NRO Security & Counterintelligence Manual (NSCM), and Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG).

Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain applicable security policies and procedures for 32 CFR Part 117/NISPOM, Special Access, and SCI Program activities.
  • Process clearances/accesses, manage visit requests, document control and accountability, physical/technical security, program security, and security awareness (briefings, debriefings, etc.).
  • Function as part of the COMSEC account management team at the facility.
  • Prepare and disseminate security procedures/guidance to all contractors/subcontractors.
  • Investigate security incidents, prepare reports, and work with the customer to execute corrective or disciplinary actions.
  • Manage project milestones from a security perspective to support the overall program.
  • Conduct self‑inspections and provide corrective action plans to the customer.
  • Interpret security policy on matters pertaining to processing, dissemination, and control of classified materials, acting as liaison between sponsor and contractors.
  • Draft, review and release official outgoing correspondence for the project ensuring compliance with security classification guides.
Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship with an Active Top Secret/SCI clearance as of Day One.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Industrial Security experience.
  • Understanding of DoD and IC manuals.
  • Knowledge of Program Security, Personnel Security, Physical/Technical Security, and Document Control.
  • Proactive, self‑driven, able to lead by example.
  • Flexible work hours, some travel required.
Required Skills
  • U.S. Citizenship Status.
  • Active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance as of Day One.
  • Minimum 3 years of Industrial Security experience.
  • Understanding of DoD and IC manuals.
  • General understanding of Program Security, Personnel Security, Physical/Technical Security and Document Control.
  • Initiative to identify requirements, analyze problems and provide detailed solutions.
  • Ability to be self‑driven and lead by example.
  • Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment and work under pressure.
  • Flexible work hours and availability for some travel.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with physical construction of Special Access Program Facilities (SAPFs) and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs); ICD‑705 knowledge.
  • Experience with access control and alarm intrusion detection and surveillance systems; UL‑2050 knowledge.
  • Experience with generating DD‑254s and subcontractor oversight.
  • Experience with developing Program Protection Plans (PPP).
  • Experience with developing OPSEC Plans.
Other Requirements
  • A drug screen will be required as part of the hiring process.
  • Ability to transfer/obtain/maintain a U.S. government TS/SCI and/or SAP security clearance.
  • Remote work is not authorized for this position.
  • Background check will be conducted for candidates receiving a conditional offer of employment.
Salary Range

$65,000 – $95,000
