Job Summary
As a Security Officer Dispatch Coordinator in Mason, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls. You will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and support timely responses to security-related concerns.
Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour
Job Schedule: Sat 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM;
Sun 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, handling incoming calls and radio traffic, and supporting security-related communications for the location.
- Monitor phones, radios, alarms, and/or camera systems from the dispatch area, document activity, and relay information to on-site personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations by gathering details, prioritizing calls, and coordinating the appropriate security-related response for the retail location.
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident records, including times, locations, and actions taken, while communicating updates to supervisors and/or site leadership as needed.
- Support regular operations by tracking officer assignments, monitoring coverage needs, and helping to deter disruptions through timely communication and adherence to post orders and emergency procedures.
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
