Property Maintenance Technician

Overview:

Kings Island is seeking skilled Property Maintenance Technicians to support the upkeep of park facilities, associate housing, and overall property grounds. This is a full-time position offering a competitive benefits package and opportunities for growth within Kings Island.

We are especially looking for candidates who are proficient in door and door lock maintenance. Locksmith experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

* Perform general carpentry work and facility maintenance, including framing, drywall, trim, flooring, and finishing repairs

* Install, repair, and maintain doors, locks, and related hardware across park facilities and housing

* Troubleshoot and service door systems and locking mechanisms, ensuring proper function and security

* Repair and maintain building structures, fixtures, and interior/exterior components

* Complete preventative maintenance and inspections to identify and address issues proactively

* Respond to maintenance service requests in a timely and professional manner

* Assist with renovations, construction projects, and seasonal park preparation

Qualifications:

* Experience in facility maintenance, carpentry, or a related trade required

* Proficiency in door and door lock maintenance required

* Locksmith experience is a plus

* Demonstrated experience with door hardware (hinges, closers, panic bars, locksets, etc.)

* Ability to perform general carpentry work, including framing, drywall, trim, and finish repairs

* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a maintenance environment

* Comfortable using hand and power tools safely and effectively

* Basic knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices

* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

* Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons
