Field Service Technician

Position Summary

Field Service professional tasked with providing preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and customer relations for a variety of customers.

Provide installation, preventive maintenance, and performance monitoring of coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensing machines for customers across national accounts, healthcare, college/university, hospitality, and large independent food service operators.

Monday–Friday, 7 AM–6 PM, with flexibility needed for customer service and limited overtime available as needed.

• Two years of customer service or equipment repair experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, health, and sanitation codes.
• Ability to correctly interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting of machines.
• Valid state driver’s license (required) and clean driving record (MVR will be run).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must successfully pass drug screen, motor vehicle record (MVR), and background check (criminal background check; credit score not checked).
• Drug‑free workplace; pre‑employment drug tests required.
• Provide letter of support from current management if already working for a GFS customer and selected for interview.
