This position will service the greater Cincinnati/Dayton/Mason areas by providing technical service and support to our customers onsite and remotely using learned knowledge and experience of electro-mechanical assemblies, system operations, programming, and diagnosing of equipment problems.

- Technical Support
:
Diagnose, maintain, and optimize electro‑mechanical automation systems through on‑site advanced troubleshooting and technical analysis - Customer Interaction
:
Deliver responsive, knowledgeable support on‑site or virtually, ensuring customers get seamless help across communication channels - Service Sales
:
Promote value‑added services (VAS) and identify opportunities for spare parts procurement to help customers maintain operational continuity - Training & Development
:
Engage in ongoing technical training and collaborate with peers to expand your expertise and elevate service delivery
- Degree (or equivalent military training) in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Automation, or equivalent education/work experience
- Proven electrical troubleshooting and strong problem solving skills
- A hands‑on, learning mindset with the drive to build technical depth over time
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents (including schematics)
- Comfortable using testing/measuring equipment (volt meters, oscilloscopes)
- Critical thinking, adaptability, and confidence working in real‑world environments
- Field Service experience is highly valued (and may be required depending on level/region

Experience:
MEAU Service Engineers receive thorough in‑house training on Mitsubishi technologies such as PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and CNCs
. Prior experience with these technologies is a plus, but not always required—expectations vary by role level and regional need. - Travel up to 80% (primarily local within your region, with occasional nationwide travel as needed)
- Overnight travel may be required depending on territory and demand
- Company service vehicle provided (must be legally able to drive)
- When not at customer sites, you’ll provide remote support via MEAU’s online system—from home or from MEAU’s corporate office
- Typical schedule is Monday–Friday
, with overtime/weekend opportunities when available
The target pay range for this position is $70,000 - 85,000 annually. The listed salary range is approximate and reflects the anticipated compensation for this position as determined by salary analysis; both internal and external to MEAU. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills and experience. Compensation may also vary due to market factors. MEAU retains the right to adjust compensation based on business needs.
