What You’ll Do- Evaluate, plan, and perform high-quality home maintenance and repair projects for clients
- Lead, coach, and support a team of Tru-Pro® technicians
- Uphold Tru Blue’s high standard of professionalism, reliability, and customer care
- Communicate clearly with customers and help manage expectations on‑site
- Ensure safety, accuracy, and consistency across every project
- Take opportunities with clients and team members to always educate on opportunities for just a little more safety and doing the right thing
- Could be replacing light fixtures, ceiling fans, trim work from rot, mounting shelves, etc. ranging to bathroom and kitchen upgrades
- Common things include drywall repair and patching, flooring installation and repair, general carpentry, focused interior and exterior painting, basic plumbing and electrical (within scope) such as outlets, fixtures, limited runs for improvements, etc., deck repair
- Preparing a house for sale, punch list work, and installations/improvements as new homeowners move in
- Residential and commercial property maintenance work, small to large
- 10+ years of hands‑on home repair or construction experience; you don't need to know or do everything; very helpful to simply know your strengths and opportunity areas
- Ideal mix of carpentry, flooring/tile, maintenance, plumbing, electrical, project planning and execution, operations—no perfect recipe but cross‑functional experience is of value to our clients and helps create flexibility for oversight and assignments
- Experience managing or mentoring other technicians, junior technicians and helpers is preferred
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills; we provide solutions and they need to be clear
- Committed to doing the job right and doing right by your team and clients
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and nearly full toolset for your strengths
- Fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Consistent work—it's difficult to manage your workload when you are only able to focus on execution
