Engagement Director Assistant

Position: Life Engagement Assistant - The Landing of Long Cove

Schedule: Monday‑Friday 9:00 am‑5:30 pm with a potential to work one weekend day occasionally, or Tuesday‑Saturday.

Location: Mason, OH

We are seeking a dedicated Life Engagement Assistant (LEA). The LEA is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing programs and activities designed to enhance the quality of life for residents. This role involves hands‑on participation in activities, providing logistical support, and ensuring a vibrant and engaging community environment.

• Assist in planning and implementing diverse activities promoting physical, social, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual well‑being of the residents.
• Foster positive relationships with residents through regular interaction and engagement.
• Engage in planning and executing events that bring residents and their families together for social engagement.
• Bring outside speakers, performers, etc. into the community to keep programming fresh and interesting.
• Assist with maintaining activity calendars, attendance records, and inventory of supplies as needed.
• Work closely with team members to coordinate and deliver comprehensive resident care and engagement.
• Assist in coordinating transportation for scheduled activities and resident appointments.
• Update community boards and digital displays with current activity information.
• Encourage resident participation in activities and provide individualized support as needed.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

• Understand and uphold the policies and procedures established by TCSL.
• Work independently, maintain confidentiality and professionalism, and be a positive leader.
• Demonstrate practical interpersonal skills as well as sound judgment and good decision‑making skills.
• Maintain good working relationships with residents and co‑workers.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Ability to sit for long periods.
• Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned.
