Job Overview
Forklift Driver/Warehouse Tech on 2nd shift. Hourly rate starts at $20 with a $1 shift differential.

- Warehouse Technicians must have physical strength, hand‑eye coordination, and endurance.
- Concentrate on tasks and understand and communicate information.
- Operate a variety of warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies.
- Provide labor support to other areas as needed.
- Arrive at work every day on time.
- Identify and report safety concerns or hazards.
- Provide machine maintenance and troubleshooting when required.
- Participate in shipping, receiving, storing, and issuing of supplies, materials, and products.
- Inspect shipments for damage and conformity to purchase orders, contact supervisors regarding discrepancies, and complete receiving reports.
- Stock products, plan storage locations, and maximize space utilization.
- Serve as a technician for an assigned warehouse function, prioritizing work assignments.
- Deliver supplies and equipment as needed.
- Participate in annual physical inventories.
- Operate a computer and assigned software to input data and generate reports.
- Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly, safe, and secure condition.
- Make recommendations for proper storage, inventory and warehousing procedures to improve efficiency.
- Work until duties are completed or until the supervisor or manager indicates work is done; some overtime may be scheduled.
- Load, unload, and sort packages in a fast‑paced environment.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
- Forklift certification.
- Three or more years in a warehouse process.
- Understanding of inventory management and warehouse functions.
- Experience with WMS and barcode scanner preferred.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Adaptable and dependable, able to follow direction and work cooperatively with others.
- Maintains a helpful and professional attitude and appearance.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- SQF, GMP, HACCP certification preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
- Activities include standing, walking, bending, lifting, stooping, crouching, kneeling intermittently.
- Hearing: must be able to hear normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
- Repetitive motion: frequent use of wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Visual abilities: average, ordinary visual acuity is necessary to prepare or inspect documents, products, or operate machinery.
- Physical strength: regularly lift up to 10 lbs, frequently up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Working conditions:
long hours in a no‑kill food processing environment that may be wet, damp, and cold.
