Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description

We are looking for a Part Time detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Newton, MA. In this role, you will focus on reconciling financial records, ensuring accurate deposit matching, and providing support for ongoing accounting tasks. This position requires working onsite and offers flexibility in scheduling, making it ideal for candidates seeking part-time hours onsite between 9am-5pm Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

- Accurately match and reconcile over 1,000 deposits, including credit card transactions and checks.

- Address and resolve backlog of deposits from previous months.

- Utilize Sage Intacct software to manage accounts receivable functions.

- Maintain precise financial records to ensure compliance and accuracy.

- Collaborate with internal teams to support accounting processes and deadlines.

- Perform three-way matching for transactions to ensure proper documentation.

- Work onsite to access servers and complete necessary tasks.

- Follow company protocols to maintain confidentiality and security of financial data.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable or related roles.

- Proficiency in Sage Intacct software.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to manage high volumes of transactions efficiently.

- Familiarity with credit card deposits and three-way matching processes.

- Comfortable working onsite for server access.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
