Accountant - Hospitality

A hospitality group in the Greater Boston area is seeking an Accountant to support daily financial operations. This is a highly visible role that works closely with leadership and offers a blend of transactional accounting, billing, and operational finance responsibilities in a service-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process AP, including invoice coding, approvals, and employee expense reimbursements
• Prepare weekly cash requirements, check runs, and payment processing, including checks, ACH, and wires.
• Manage member billing and record, and reconcile retail, dining, and service-related transactions.
• Monitor and maintain POS systems, including auditing item codes and transaction accuracy.
• Support event and function accounting, including billing, posting, and attendance tracking
• Perform general ledger entries, transfers, and adjustments
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Respond to billing inquiries with a high level of professionalism
• Partner with leadership on reporting, analysis, and special projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 3+years of accounting experience in the hospitality orservice industry
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles and day-to-day accounting operations
