Senior Tax Accountant

Our client, a growing Tax and Accounting firm, is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join its expanding team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys preparing returns, building long-term client relationships, and working in a collaborative environment—without the pressure of business development.

Senior Tax Accountant Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $165,000
  , depending on experience
• Hybrid schedule after first busy season (3 days in office, 2 days WFH)
• Unlimited PTO (outside of busy season)

Senior Tax Accountant

Requirements & Qualifications:

• CPA license strongly preferred; candidates close to completing their CPA will also be considered
• Experience preparing individual and business tax returns
• Experience with Quick Books Online and Quick Books Desktop required
• Experience with Lacerte required
• Experience with Canopy tax software is a plus
• Strong communication and client service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities during busy tax seasons
• High level of professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail

Senior Tax Accountant Responsibilities & Duties:

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, including:
  • Form 1040
  • S Corporation returns
  • LLC and partnership returns
  • Limited trust returns
• Communicate with clients regarding tax planning and return preparation
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while providing outstanding service
• Collaborate with the firm's bookkeeping and wealth management teams to ensure a seamless client experience
• Identify opportunities for clients to benefit from additional financial services and make internal referrals when appropriate
