Our client, a growing Tax and Accounting firm, is seeking a Tax Accountant to join its expanding team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys preparing returns, building long-term client relationships, and working in a collaborative environment—without the pressure of business development.
Tax Accountant Compensation and Benefits:- Competitive base salary ranging from $75,000 to $120,000
, depending on experience - Hybrid schedule after first busy season (3 days in office, 2 days WFH)
- Unlimited PTO (outside of busy season)
Requirements & Qualifications:
- CPA license preferred, but all candidates are encouraged to apply
- Experience preparing individual and business tax returns
- Experience with Quick Books Online and Quick Books Desktop required
- Experience with Lacerte required
- Experience with Canopy tax software is a plus
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities during busy tax seasons
- High level of professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, including:
- Form 1040
- S Corporation returns
- LLC and partnership returns
- Limited trust returns
- Communicate with clients regarding tax planning and return preparation
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while providing outstanding service
- Collaborate with the firm's bookkeeping and wealth management teams to ensure a seamless client experience
- Identify opportunities for clients to benefit from additional financial services and make internal referrals when appropriate
