Reporting to the head of Finance & Accounting and working closely with our owners, this newly created role is perfect for someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and is looking to make an impact on new processes and procedures.

Extensive experience and a high level of proficiency with Procore (power user/admin level user) is required.

• Monitor project budgets, costs, and forecasts to ensure financial accuracy
• Track job costs (labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors) and analyze variances
• Prepare and manage client billings, including progress billing and retainage
• Oversee all pending and approved change orders, ensuring proper coding of commitments, maintaining budget accuracy, and proactively updating project estimates
• Maintain accurate records in the accounting system (e.g., Sage Intacct)
• Support Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting and revenue recognition
• Reconcile project accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Coordinate with Project Managers on budgets, change orders, and cost projections
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes related to projects
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and financial controls
• Prepare financial reports for management review

• Knowledgeable about all aspects of construction accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
• Minimum of five years of related experience
• Flexible and adaptable, able to work across business functions
• Outstanding team player with good interpersonal skills
• High level of experience with and proficiency in Procore required
• Proficiency in Excel required, and experience with Sage Intaact a plus
