- Assembly & Test of opto-mechanical & Electrical assemblies to ensure compliance to defined standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair opto-mechanical & Electrical assemblies using tools such as Multimeter or scopes
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to aid repair
- Assists in the generation of new product or sub-assembly documentation and work instructions
- Provides feedback to engineering regarding errors or omissions in existing documentation
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve issues and improve assembly procedures
- Follow company standards for safety and quality control throughout the assembly process. Regular and reliable attendance and the ability to work overtime are essential functions of this job.
- Strong troubleshooting ability with mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems (preferable 2-3 year's experience)
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Experience in welding is a plus.
- Experience using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, gauges, or software‑based testers
- Basic understanding of safety standards and compliance procedures
- Familiarity with tools and equipment used in repairs, installations, or maintenance
- Computer literacy for logging work orders, reviewing documentation, or using maintenance software
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a professional environment
- Ability to lift, pull or push objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
