Job Schedule:
Monday‑Friday (12pm‑8:30pm).
- Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 computer using a handheld computer (Portable Terminal – PT) or provide information via headset to a coworker for data entry of each vehicle received at the auction.
- Record Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), stock number, dealer identification number, make, model, year, mileage, color, options, and other relevant details.
- Affix barcode/stock number stickers on each vehicle received.
- Apply work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry.
- Flag "no key" cars and direct transporters to the proper car drop zone.
- Report transport damage as needed.
- Take a digital image of the vehicle upon receipt.
- Provide the proper sale identification windshield code to the driver who is moving the vehicle through the registration/check‑in area.
- Demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to them.
- Work in cooperation with safety leadership in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor, such as assisting on sale days by driving vehicles through auction sales lanes.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Valid driver’s license; safe drivers with the ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
- Basic computer skills.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear.
- Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb.
- Ability to lift 1–15 pounds.
- Vision abilities including close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Preferred: 1–3 years of auction and/or vehicle registration experience.
Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions and moderate noise levels.
