Car Shop is seeking a responsible Lot Attendant to clean and organize the sales lot during store hours. This is a critical position as this person is responsible for preparing the lot and vehicles for our customers' first impressions.
ResponsibilitiesThe Lot Attendant is responsible for washing and internal cleaning of lot inventory so that all vehicles are maintained in pristine condition for potential customers. He/She ensures the sales lot is clean and organized—including filling "holes" in the lines with appropriate stock. Additional responsibilities include preparing sold vehicles for delivery and driving vehicles to the gas station to fuel as necessary.
He/She maintains the wash trucks, pressure washers and all other equipment and tools. The essential functions of this position require a person to work with hazardous or flammable materials; and/or to complete tasks in which a lapse of attention could result in injury, including operating, repairing, maintaining, or monitoring heavy equipment, machinery, or motor vehicles.
- Demonstrated ability to establish priorities and problem solve to complete tasks in a timely manner.

- Valid driver’s license with a good driving history; ability to pass pre-employment testing including background and drug tests.

- Ability to faithfully carry out instructions, perform basic math, and work independently within prescribed routines and standard practices.

- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work with a diverse group of people.
Medium work: lifting, pulling, or pushing up to 50 pounds occasionally, or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, or 10 pounds constantly as required to move objects. The position requires ability to stand, sit, crawl, climb, stoop, kneel, reach, grasp and to talk and hear. Work is in a covered area but also outside at times and may involve heat, cold, hazards, and noise.

PreferredEducation and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent; six months or more of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications- Valid driver’s license.
- Individuals under the age of 18 may not drive vehicles off the dealership premises.
