Overview
Allegion seeks an Architectural Services Consultant in Massachusetts, Connecticut or Rhode Island to promote our professional architectural consulting services centered around Division 08 and Division 28. The role involves building relationships with architectural accounts, driving demand creation, and managing specification projects throughout their lifecycle.
What You Will Do- Proactively develop relationships with industry design professionals to increase demand for Allegion’s brands and architectural services.
- Identify target accounts and create/manage account objectives to drive short‑term and long‑term growth.
- Lead architectural education, including AIA Lunch and Learns and industry networking events.
- Procure specification writing opportunities from targeted accounts by leading project review meetings, gathering documents, and defining mutually agreed scopes of work.
- Manage each specification project through its lifecycle, updating schedules and stakeholders.
- Identify and track new project opportunities using lead databases and industry relationships.
- Pursue assigned construction leads, request RFAs on projects where Allegion is not an approved manufacturer, and initiate Architectural Consulting Agreements (ACAs).
- Collaborate closely with the broader sales team on specification projects and during monthly market and project‑tracking review meetings.
- Provide mentorship and development to peer group to support team growth.
- Maintain industry/competitor product knowledge through market data and competitive activity reviews.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline using CRM and track assigned projects through the sales process.
- Adapt to marketplace changes and pursue continuing education related to the construction industry and industry influencers.
- Maintain awareness of all Allegion policies, guidelines, and procedures and ensure compliance.
- High School Diploma required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred. - 5+ years business development or technical experience in architecture, construction, or door hardware; experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to develop a basic understanding of security system integrations and electronic components.
- Proficiency in managing multiple projects, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and strong presentation skills.
- Proficient with business tools such as Bluebeam, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM.
- Demonstrated experience influencing others with a bias for action.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Ability to travel up to 30% within the territory (Western Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island).
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Expected Total Compensation Range: $93,700 - $156,000. Compensation will be based on skill, experience, and applicable law. Bonus eligible.
