Position OverviewThe Indirect Sourcing Specialist is a core member of the Indirect Sourcing team and leads the development and execution of sourcing strategies for assigned categories within Global Facilities world‑wide. The role partners with stakeholders across Global Operations to align sourcing strategies with organizational goals and operational needs, champions innovative solutions, and maintains high performance and global collaboration. It involves managing a broad portfolio of services—including managed facility services, security services, and construction services—to achieve sustainable cost reductions, mitigate supply‑chain risk, and drive overall business objectives.
Responsibilities- Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to internal stakeholders to identify business needs and align sourcing strategies; ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements in all sourcing activities.
- Lead global RFI/RFP processes including development, supplier engagement, bid analysis, and contract negotiations with facility service providers in conjunction with internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to forecast and consolidate demand; identify and implement opportunities to reduce demand, optimize spend, and implement cost‑reduction initiatives.
- Gather and analyze global spend data, market trends, and supply‑chain risks to identify opportunities for innovative solutions, value‑improvement optimization, and cost savings.
- Negotiate value improvements and optimize supplier contracts to ensure balanced engagement and competitive advantage.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships through performance reviews, scorecards, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Integrate key pillars of indirect sourcing strategy, including cost leadership, supplier innovation, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability.
- Promote a work environment of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of procurement experience with a strong focus on facility‑based operations.
- Experience with contract negotiation, supplier management, and strategic sourcing methodologies.
- Experience managing global supplier relationships, including performance and service optimization.
- Experience driving value‑improvement programs.
- Effective project‑management, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Tableau, SAP, Ariba, or similar systems.
- Proficiency in AI applications (CoPilot, ChatGPT, Deep Research, etc.).
- Ability to build relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Minimum Salary: $75,100 – Maximum Salary: $142,600. Compensation may include variable components such as overtime, shift differential, bonus targets, and long‑term incentives depending on role classification. Pay is commensurate with experience, education, and other relevant factors.
