Overview

The Strategy & Analytics team shapes Red Oak’s generic pharmaceutical sourcing strategy. This flexible Analyst role primarily supports Pipeline & Business Development while serving as a shared analytics resource across the broader team. The position spans multiple strategic pillars, offering exposure to diverse healthcare subject areas. Success requires strong analytical skills, comfort with data tools, and the ability to collaborate across functions.

Analytics

& Insights
  • Develop a strong understanding of the generic pharmaceutical industry, brand‑to‑generic dynamics, and Red Oak’s business model.
  • Conduct quantitative analyses across varied topics and translate findings into clear insights.
  • Learn and navigate Red Oak’s data infrastructure.
  • Research suppliers, competitors, regulatory developments, and supply chain trends to inform strategy.
  • Ability to connect disparate data points to identify themes and trends
Cross‑Functional Support
  • Partner with Sourcing and Operations teams on ad hoc analyses.
  • Assist with slide development for quarterly board meetings.
  • Review supplier background materials to prepare executives for meetings.
Industry Research
  • Summarize earnings calls, research relevant industry events, and create executive‑ready slides.
  • Using industry insight tools, support pipeline activities such as reporting, call notes, and supplier product list generation.
  • Assist business development with risk assessments, volume estimates, meeting preparation, and tracker updates.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s in Statistics, Operations, Economics, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related majors (preferred)
  • 0-to-2 years of related experience, preferably in data analytics or healthcare
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem‑solving skills
  • Strong written communication skills and experience with creating and presenting PowerPoint documents
  • Basic experience with programming languages is a plus (e.g., SQL, Python)

The Pay Range For This Role Is $57,000.00 - $67,000.00.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a Red Oak bonus in addition to the base pay range listed above.
