Kids Community Group Leader

The Community House seeks applicants for the position of Group Leader. 22 hours/week

• In the absence of the TKC Program Director, the program runs smoothly and efficiently
• Greet every participant, parent, and TCH visitor enthusiastically and warmly
• Maintain a professional presentation and appearance
• Show consistent positive feedback from coworkers and constituents
• Be on time and maintain excellent attendance
• Support children in the program by ensuring a safe environment, providing emotional support and behavioral interventions, and encouraging play

• Plan and deliver enriching and engaging programming and activities for the group each day
• Provide a safe level of supervision for the group and support the overall safety of the entire TKC community
• Report all safety concerns and issues to management
• Maintain a clean and safe classroom
• Maintain flexibility and confidentiality
• Attend required staff meetings and trainings
• Supervise and support the development and training of Assistant Group Leaders
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Age 18 or older
• Consistent positive attitude, outgoing
• Self‑starter and willing to learn and adapt to new trends and tools
• Accepts feedback, open‑minded and optimistic
• Enjoys working with children and likes to have fun
• Willing to make suggestions for improvements and efficiencies
• Has basic computer skills

$20 per hour plus additional compensation based on experience. Includes a Simple IRA with company match, school‑age child‑care benefits, two weeks of paid vacation accrued from the start of employment, four paid holidays, and a $1,000 bonus after six months of employment.
