Before and After School Teacher

Kinder Care is seeking a Before and After School Teacher to support students at Mary K. Goode Elementary. In this part-time role, you'll create a safe, engaging environment for school-age children before and after the regular school day. Responsibilities include planning fun, developmentally appropriate activities, supporting homework, supervising transitions, and maintaining positive communication with families and school staff. You'll model inclusive, respectful behavior and help foster social, emotional, and academic growth in every child while collaborating with a supportive team focused on continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children in before- and after-school program ensuring safety and well-being
• Plan and lead age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
• Support homework and learning routines for school-age children
• Maintain positive, professional communication with families and school staff
• Promote inclusive, respectful behavior and social-emotional development
• Follow center policies, safety procedures, and licensing regulations
• Prepare and organize program materials and learning spaces
• Monitor attendance and transitions to and from classrooms and buses
