Job Title:
Construction Project Manager – Chemical Plant Capital Projects
Duration: Long Term Contract
Pay Rate: $75–$85/hour (W2) all inclusive
This job doesn't offer any Paid time off and Holiday Pay

We have an immediate opening for a Construction Manager supporting capital projects at a chemical manufacturing facility in South Deerfield, MA.
Key Responsibilities- Manage construction, expansion, and capital improvement projects from planning through completion.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and EHS teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Oversee contractors, subcontractors, and vendors while ensuring compliance with site safety requirements.
- Review engineering drawings, P&IDs, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, Process Safety Management (PSM), Management of Change (MOC), LOTO, hot work permits, confined space entry, and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR).
- Monitor installation of process equipment, piping, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
- Provide project status updates and support permitting activities with regulatory agencies.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of Construction Management experience
, including at least 3 years in a chemical, petrochemical, refinery, or industrial process plant environment. - Experience managing EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, PSM, contractor safety, and industrial construction practices.
- Experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar scheduling software.
- Knowledge of process piping, P&IDs, mechanical equipment installation, and instrumentation.
- PMP or Certified Construction Manager (CCM).
- Experience with ASME, API, NEC, and NFPA codes.
- Hazardous materials or EPA RMP experience.
