As a Photojournalist
, you’ll work with a team of journalists to shoot and edit material for newscasts. You’ll elevate stories by incorporating footage with fresh angles, lighting, and points of view. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that creates compelling, timely, and accurate content to connect with viewers across traditional and digital platforms.
- Shoot and edit material for newscasts; contribute to storytelling across traditional and digital platforms.
- Collaborate with reporters and editors to develop engaging, accurate stories.
- Apply lighting, framing, and camera techniques to produce high-quality footage.
- Capture footage at local events and in the community, balancing news value with ethical considerations.

Required Qualifications- Experience:
Shooting and editing television news footage – 5+ years - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field, or comparable television work experience - Technical
Skills:
Operation of ENG/SNG/Satellite vehicles and bonded cellular streaming - Skills:
Ability to clearly communicate solutions; ability to relate to diverse populations - Abilities:
Positive attitude and willingness to solve problems; physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds; color discernment and good hearing - Travel Ability:
Willing to travel to cover important stories and engage with the community - Schedule:
Ability to work different shifts and cover stand-by responsibilities as needed - Driver’s license:
Valid driver’s license for authorized driving in the state of residence
- DSNG experience
- Works indoors in a climate-controlled environment and outdoors in varied weather conditions
- Drives company vehicle to various locations; adheres to safety and traffic laws
The base pay for this position generally is between $20.40 and $36.10
. The actual compensation offered will consider factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and certain positions may be eligible for additional forms of incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
