Job Description
Provide lab and clinical instruction to Dental Assisting students starting in the academic year. Instruction will utilize clinical simulation, laboratory materials, and dental instruments to support hands‑on learning. The courses listed below will be offered in both the Fall and Spring semesters.
Examples of Duties100) Radiology Lab
This laboratory course offers students the opportunity to develop foundational radiology skills essential for clinical practice. Through hands‑on training with simulation manikins and live patients, students gain practical experience in dental radiographic techniques. The course is designed to prepare students for competent performance in a clinical setting and to meet the requirements for radiology certification.
DAS106) Chairside Dental Assisting Lab
This course provides an orientation to the role of the dental assistant in dental practice. The concepts of dentistry and chairside assisting procedures commonly used in a dental office are introduced. Clinical and professional skills and ethical standards for patient care will be discussed and developed in the lecture and through the laboratory and/or clinical simulation component.

Additional InformationCompensation: $60.37 per hour. Part‑time, non‑benefited, MCCC Unit position.
