A Hygiene Environment Built Around Quality Care

At Newton Centre Dental, hygiene isn't about moving as many patients through the schedule as possible. Our 60-minute adult recall appointments and no accelerated hygiene model allow you to slow down, educate patients, build trust, and provide the level of care you were trained to deliver. Our practice primarily serves an established community seeking comprehensive, personalized dentistry, with a payer mix that leans more toward fee-for-service and PPO care rather than heavy insurance participation.

You’ll collaborate with experienced dentists and team members in an environment where hygienists are respected as an essential part of the clinical team.

  • Conduct periodontal assessments and maintain accurate periodontal charting
  • Capture and interpret diagnostic-quality digital radiographs
  • Educate patients on oral health, periodontal health, and individualized preventive care
  • Conduct head, neck, and oral cancer screenings
  • Identify periodontal and restorative concerns and communicate findings with the dentist
  • Build lasting relationships with patients through education, trust, and consistency
  • Collaborate with doctors and clinical team members to provide comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate digital patient records and uphold OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards

  • Current CPR certification
