The facility seeks coverage for their outpatient clinic, necessitated by the replacement of a current physician. The role does not entail on-call duties, allowing for a focus on scheduled clinic hours during weekdays. The average patient load consists of approximately 13 individuals per day, ensuring an ideal balance between quality patient care and manageable caseload. Within the outpatient clinic, the locum physician will supervise other healthcare providers, fostering a collaborative environment and contributing to the overall efficiency of patient care delivery.

With a total of 250 beds and a team comprising eight cardiologists, including the locum, there is ample support and camaraderie among colleagues. The primary responsibilities of the Non-Invasive Cardiologist include performing essential procedures such as echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, electrical cardioversions, electrocardiograms (EKGs), treadmill stress tests, and chemical stress tests. Proficiency in these procedures is essential to ensure comprehensive patient evaluation and treatment planning.

Requirements:
Candidates must hold an active Massachusetts medical license, with no exceptions. Additionally, current BLS/ACLS certification and board certification in cardiology are required. COVID vaccination and a clean background for quick credentialing are also mandatory prerequisites for this position.
