Description:
This role involves working full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.The physician will be responsible for rounding on patients and coordinating with house officers.
The average daily patient census is 15, with admissions and discharge responsibilities.
There are no procedures required in this position.
Weekend call is approximately once every seventh weekend, requiring coverage for both Saturday and Sunday.
Flexible roles may alternate between attending and consultant responsibilities during the assignment.
Credentialing timeframe varies from 3 to 6 months, with temporary licensing possible.
Accommodations, flights, and rental cars will be provided for travel needs.
All costs associated with credentialing and privileging are the responsibility of the entity.
The physician will not be performing procedures but will manage patient assessments and discharge planning.
There will be no billable hours for the initial training period.
