• Develop and implement daily lesson and curriculum plans using creative curriculum.
• Create and maintain a safe and healthy physical environment that fosters the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of students.
• Perform teaching activities that align with the Head Start Performance Standards regulations.
• Assist with meal service, bus monitoring, and other various activities as assigned.

• Commonwealth of Massachusetts EEC certification in Preschool is required.
• CDA, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree in early childhood (or related field) is preferred.
• Must be able to speak and understand English; knowledge of Portuguese, Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Arabic is helpful but not required.
• All candidates must undergo a CORI, DCF, SORI, and fingerprint background check prior to beginning employment.
• Valid Massachusetts state driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
