Tenure-track International Maritime Business Faculty

Position: Full-time, Tenure-track International Maritime Business Faculty
Location: Buzzards Bay

General Responsibilities

* Teach an academic course load of 12 credits per semester (Fall and Spring) of college-level International Maritime Business courses in accounting, finance and/or business data analytics, and offer upper-level business electives. * Engage in curriculum development and improvement.

* Participate in various academic committees in support of the Department and the Academy.

* Participate in International Maritime Business Department Experiential Learning Programs.

* Participate in Open Houses and departmental enrollment initiatives.

* Serve as an academic advisor to assigned student advisees.

* Serve as a co-op advisor to assigned student advisees.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Master's Degree in Business, Management or related field.

* Demonstrated experience of teaching and research.

* Ability to teach in one or more of the following areas:
Finance, Accounting, Logistics, Business Data Analytics, Business Management, Maritime Management or a related field.

* Ideal candidate will be a scholar with interdisciplinary interests and excellent communication skills.

* Willingness to contribute to the growth of the International Maritime Business department.

Preferred Qualifications

* Terminal degree in Business, Management or related field strongly preferred.

Salary

$78,000-$85,000 annually. The Academy offers generous benefits and a competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Academic rank of the successful candidate will be commensurate with academic background and experience.
