The Ayer Shirley Regional School District is seeking a Third Grade Teacher to work from May 22, 2026, through the end of the school year. The primary responsibilities of the Educator will include, but not be limited to, the following:
* Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with Massachusetts curriculum standards using district-assigned curricular materials
* Assess student progress through various methods and use the information to adjust instruction
* Provide an equitable classroom environment by effectively meeting the individual needs of all students
* Regularly communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior.
* Collaborate with peers and participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.
* Complete other duties as assigned by the building administration
Bachelor's or higher earned an academic degree in the subject area sought
* Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) in Massachusetts for Elementary, 1-6 required
* SEI Endorsement on DESE License Required
