Position Overview:
As an Admissions & Marketing Assistant at Riverview School, you will play a vital role in guiding families to the school & through the admissions process. This position involves managing applications, coordinating communications, events, & ensuring prospective families experience the warmth & excellence that define Riverview. - Manage & track applications from inquiry to enrollment.
- Serve as the primary contact for prospective families, answering questions & providing guidance.
- Conduct initial application reviews to evaluate Riverview School as an appropriate next step for the prospective student.
- Coordinate & participate in admissions events such as open houses, campus tours, & student visit days.
- Maintain accurate records in the admissions database.
- Act as backup to the Admissions Office Manager.
- Coordinate communications to promote the school.
- Coordinate marketing activities to create admissions inquiries.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Degree: Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal & communication skills; excellent organizational & multitasking abilities.
- Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Workspace; familiarity with CRM or student information systems preferred.
- Other: Attention to detail & ability to maintain confidentiality. Prior experience in admissions or customer service is preferred.
- Education: Education preferred.
- Suitable background check (CORI, SORI, DCF) & fingerprinting required.
- Legal authorization to work in the US.
- Valid CPR certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to walk extended distances & navigate campus & off-site events.
- Ability to lift & carry up to 25 lbs.
