Children's Librarian, Randall Library (Stow)
Randall Library in Stow just reopened after a significant remodel and is seeking a new children’s librarian. The position is part‑time (28 hours/week) but benefits eligible, offering an opportunity to exercise creativity and help usher in a new era for the historic library in a growing community.
Responsibilities- Implementing programs and services designed to meet community needs.
- Providing all facets of children’s programming and selecting/maintaining children’s materials.
- Covering the public service desk(s) and delivering information services, including interacting with patrons and performing circulation duties using the Minuteman Library Network’s Sierra software.
- MLS (ALA accredited) preferred with 1‑3 years of public library experience in children’s services.
- Knowledge of current library technology and youth services trends.
- Availability to work nights and weekends.
Part‑time (28 hours/week, 4 days).
EducationMLS/Master’s.
Salary Range$35.39 – $46.44 per hour.
