Responsibilities:
The High School Spanish/World Language Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in foreign languages and culture, fostering students' proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
Job Goal:
* Provide instructional programs that promote student's development of skill and knowledge in the content area assigned.
* To help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their education
* To promote class environment favorable to learning and student's personal growth
* To establish effective rapport with pupils to develop the skills, attitudes, and knowledge necessary to become successful individuals in accordance with each pupil's ability
* To establish positive relationships with parents/ guardians and staff members
Qualifications:
* A teaching license issued by the State of Massachusetts appropriate for this content area and grade level 9-12 preferred
* Demonstrated expertise in specific instructional content area, as assigned
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Approved CORI and Fingerprinting results
Salary Range: $57,005.00 - $60,304.00
