Position: Kindergarten Teacher - Craneville Elementary School (Anticipated 2026-2027)
Location: Dalton

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Massachusetts teacher certifiable in elementary education, grades K - 2

* Knowledge of MA Curriculum frameworks, curriculum, instruction, and assessment

* Ability to work with a diverse population

* Knowledge of inclusive instruction and response to intervention helpful

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

* Responsible for effective planning and assessment of curriculum and instruction

* Establishes and (as necessary) adjusts instructional goals and objectives, to reflect district/school goals, curriculum policies, and the knowledge, skills, progress, and needs of one's students.

* Designs lessons that provide opportunities for problem-solving, creativity, and communication skills.

* Establishes and maintains standards for social and emotional learning consistent with CASEL standards.

* Commits to on-going professional development in content area and pedagogy.

* Plans learning activities to address individual differences among students

* Develops, administers, and evaluates quality formative and summative assessments that reflect a balance of content knowledge and problem-solving skills.

* Monitors and evaluates students' progress in relation to learning goals.

* Encourages, secures and maintains the involvement of families and other community members in support of instruction.

* Effectively collaborates with department and grade level teachers.

* Knowledgeable of equitable teaching and learning resources and practices.

* Performs other duties as assisgned.

SALARY: $50,954 to $97,434 in accordance with the teachers' contract
