Carroll School is an independent day school located in Waltham, Lincoln, and Wayland, Massachusetts, serving students with language‑based learning differences such as dyslexia. Carroll School seeks a Middle School Math Teacher who is passionate about lifelong learning, culturally responsive teaching, and teaching students with language‑based learning differences.

• Teach four 8‑12 student classes per day plus a flex block.
• Apply a multisensory, diagnostic, prescriptive approach to instruction.
• Create data‑informed lesson plans specific to individual student needs.
• Collaborate with the Middle School curricular team to develop and customize curriculum through a culturally responsive lens.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and administration.
• Serve as homeroom advisor.
• Meet regularly with coach, teaching team, administrators, and parents as needed.
• Supply grades, written comments, and interim progress reports to school administrators.
• Participate in school‑sponsored professional development.
• Work a minimum of one extended‑day session per year during the first three years.
• Choose from supervised study hall, sports coaching, art, Bounders, Lower School enrichment, or Maker Space for extended‑day work.
• Perform additional duties as required.

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of three years of teaching experience (preferred).
• Ability to use multi‑sensory education methods.
• Willingness to train in specialized approaches for students with language‑based learning differences.
• Desire to teach a multicultural curriculum.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Citizenship or work visa status required.
