Mild/Moderate Disabilities
Nipmuc Regional High School is seeking a Special Education Long Term Substitute (LTS) from August 31, 2026 - December 23, 2026. The Special Education LTS will provide instruction guided by the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, allowing staff to assess, teach, and evaluate progress using evidence‑based procedures.
Lesson plans will be customized to address communication, social skills, academics, self‑help, health and safety, recreation and physical education, community skills, vocational skills, and transition skills. A specialized academic curriculum is also used as necessary.
Job Requirements- MA DESE Licensure required
- Understanding of special education process and procedure including but not limited to IEP development, progress monitoring, data collection, and facilitation of the IEP with families
- Wilson Reading trained or certified (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
