Job DescriptionWebster Public Schools is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Academic Coordinator (BRYT Program) at Webster Middle School.
The Middle School BRYT Special Education Teacher provides individualized academic, behavioral, and social‑emotional support to students transitioning back to school following significant mental health, medical, or emotional challenges. The teacher creates a supportive and flexible learning environment that promotes successful school re‑entry, academic progress, self‑advocacy, and emotional well‑being. Responsibilities include coordinating academic and behavioral supports, implementing IEP accommodations and services, monitoring student progress, collaborating with families, school staff, and community providers, and facilitating students’ successful transition to less restrictive educational settings.
Strong collaboration, communication, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building skills are essential, along with experience supporting students with social‑emotional and mental health needs.

- At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
