Masters Academy International

Masters Academy International (MAI) is New England’s only school that intentionally integrates pro‑level coaching and top‑tier academics to prepare future leaders, excelling in sport, scholarship, and life. At MAI, athletics are not an extracurricular add‑on; they are a core pillar of student identity and future opportunity.

Our student athletes pursue ambitious goals and train with purpose. The athletic program at MAI is designed to develop exceptional competitors while also cultivating the character, habits, and mindset required for long‑term success. We believe in doing things the right way: with excellence, integrity, and care for the whole student.

About the Role

MAI is seeking an entrepreneurial, business‑development‑oriented Director of Camps and Enrichment to design, scale, and lead a high‑quality portfolio of year‑round programs. In this dynamic, school‑leadership role, you will forge strategic community partnerships to expand MAI's enrollment pipeline. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, systems‑driven leader who pairs a growth mindset with an unwavering commitment to student safeguarding and child welfare that aspires to build something meaningful to assist in driving our institutional growth.

What

You Will Do

As the Director of Camps and Enrichment, you will formulate and execute a comprehensive strategic plan to scale and lead our portfolio of summer camps, winter academies, tournaments, after‑school enrichment, and clinic offerings. You will act as a business‑development‑oriented operator, maximizing the utilization of our pro‑level campus facilities to drive vital non‑tuition revenue while collaborating directly with our Admissions and Marketing teams to turn auxiliary program participation into a robust enrollment pipeline.

Capitalizing on MAI's global footprint, you will design and coordinate high‑end national and international travel programs, training experiences, and cultural exchanges in partnership with other Cognita schools and international academies.

On the ground, you will recruit, train, and supervise a high‑energy team of seasonal staff, ensuring all daily operations, vendor contracts, and international logistics strictly adhere to the highest standards of child welfare, youth supervision, and safeguarding protocols.

Who You Are

You are an entrepreneurial, systems‑oriented leader that is comfortable moving seamlessly between high‑level strategy and hands‑on execution. You are a youth development professional that knows how to build external partnerships, navigate complex schedules, and lead a diverse, mission‑aligned team of seasonal coaches and instructors.

Qualifications
  • Education
    :
Bachelor's degree in Education, Recreation Management, Sports Management, Youth Development, or a related field.
  • Experience
    :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in youth program leadership, camp administration, athletics programming, or experiential education.
  • Expertise
    :
Demonstrated success in building or growing programs that combine strong participation with financial sustainability; experience managing budgets, scheduling systems, staffing, and operational logistics; experience working with athletic facilities, camps, tournaments, or community sports programming strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge
    :
Strong understanding of building external partnerships with organizations that enhance training and program resources; strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; significant experience in residential life within a boarding school, university, or similar residential environment.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role is $90,000. Benefits for eligible roles include medical, life insurance, a 401(k) savings plan, and more.

Diversity, Inclusion, and Safeguarding

We are deeply committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout our organization. We strive to build a culture in which every colleague feels that they belong, are trusted, and are valued. We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds and strongly encourage those from underrepresented groups to apply.

Cognita Schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment. Safer recruitment practice and pre‑employment background checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed.

We are an equal opportunities employer committed to diversity and treating all employees with dignity and respect regardless of background.

Early applications are encouraged. We reserve the right to interview and appoint prior to closing date for the right applicant.
