About The Role
We are excited to announce a series of new roles that reflect our continued commitment to ensuring all students Belong and Achieve.
Due to internal promotion and as a result of expansion of our support team of Learning Support Assistants, we are seeking individuals who would like to specialise; therefore the primary purpose of this role will be to support pupils across all key stages (mainstream and specialist resource provision) with sensory and physical needs.
Due to the nature of the role a patient, caring and compassionate approach is needed. This post is suitable if you are looking to build your experience working with SEND pupils, but also for current Teaching Assistants who are willing to undertake training and development related to the role.
Responsibilities- Have experience supporting learning in the classroom (primary or secondary).
- Assist in the promotion of high standards of behaviour and conduct.
- Be a team player with great communication and organisational skills.
- Support colleagues as directed in all aspects of learning, personal development and emotional literacy.
Our Learning Support Assistant will also have the ability to work calmly under pressure and to adapt quickly and effectively to changing circumstances.
