Kindergarten Paraprofessional
Carpenter School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic kindergarten paraprofessional to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our kindergarten teachers and students, ensuring a positive and effective learning environment. The position is 27.5 hours per week, when school is in session. Responsibilities include assisting the kindergarten teacher(s) with classroom management and instruction, providing individual and/or small group support to students, helping prepare instructional materials and classroom activities, and supervising students in the classroom, at recess, and on field trips.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
