Substitute Teacher Position

Compensation:
Substitute teachers who have completed the district's online training will be paid $130 per day. Substitute teachers who have not completed the district's online training will be paid $107 per day. Substitute education support professionals will be paid $21.65 per hour. All internal applicants who are interested in this position should apply within ten days of this posting. All applicants must be fingerprinted prior to hiring.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provide a positive role model, good behavior, and respectful interactions with students and staff. Must be flexible and participate as part of the team. Ability to cover classroom teachers, assistants, related arts teachers, or any other duties that are needed on a daily basis.

Qualifications:

Must have 2 years of college or be highly qualified under the NLCB regulations. Experience working with children, preferred. Must be reliable, responsible and dependable. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply. Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
