OpportunityWe are seeking educators and sport science professionals to design and teach courses that connect the science of human performance directly to the lived experiences of our student‑athletes. Instructors will create engaging learning experiences around movement efficiency, energy systems, force production, injury prevention, recovery, and performance nutrition, translating research into practice.
What You Will DoDesign courses that illuminate scientific principles behind athletic performance and connect theory to students’ training and competition experiences. Use students’ sports as living laboratories—analyzing movement, examining training adaptations, and investigating performance questions that matter to them personally. Through hands‑on investigations, experiments, and case studies, guide students to think like scientists and apply the scientific method. Mentor students individually, ensuring they can apply scientific understanding to their athletic growth.
Cultivate a classroom culture grounded in curiosity, experimentation, and evidence‑based reasoning, and build strong partnerships with students and families.
Professional or academic expertise in sport science, kinesiology, biomechanics, exercise physiology, physics, nutrition science, or a related field, with a passion for explaining performance science to student‑athletes. You view athletic training and competition as contexts for teaching scientific thinking and inquiry, and you take ownership of your students’ success and well‑being. You support the unique demands student‑athletes face, fostering balance and resilience.
You approach your work with humility, collaboration, and integrity, and you continually seek new knowledge and embrace innovation.
Salary range: $80,000. Eligible benefits: medical, life insurance, 401(k) savings plan, and more.
