Lower School Support Teacher and After School Program Staff (temp coverage)

The Lower School at Milton Academy seeks a full‑time, benefits‑eligible Support Teacher to assist in K–5 classrooms during the academic day and to supervise students in the After School Program (ASP) from 3:00 to 4:00 PM daily. This temporary position begins in August 2026 and concludes in mid-February 2027. The role focuses on supporting instruction, supervising students, and contributing to a positive, engaging and supportive classroom environment.

The Support Teacher will also serve as a substitute across all Lower School classrooms as needed.

In addition to classroom responsibilities, the Support Teacher will play an active role in the Lower School’s After School Program by providing supervision and support for students attending ASP each afternoon. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the ASP team to help create a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for students at the end of the school day.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in a school or childcare setting, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a collaborative, flexible approach to working with students and colleagues. Position Type: Full‑time

Salary: $20 to $24 per hour
