The Ashburnham-Westminster Regional School District is seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of para educator at John R. Briggs Elementary School. The support is mainly provided in an inclusive environment in the general education classroom.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the instruction and supervision of students, supporting students academically, socially, and behaviorally in the inclusion, small group, and/or individual setting with direction from a teacher, service provider or administrator.
- Support students with diverse needs following provisions specified in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and respond to the individual needs of students as appropriate.
- Assist in promoting student independence and cultivating a positive learning environment.

Salary: $21 to $28 Per Hour
