We are hiring an Intensive Needs Classroom Teacher to support students with intensive developmental and communication needs. The classroom includes 3‑5 students with a high faculty ratio and uses a communication‑based instructional model. Responsibilities include delivering an adapted curriculum, classroom instruction, therapeutic support, and integration of instructional and communication technology, including Assistive Technology and AAC.
Candidate requirements:
- Experience leading a classroom in a special‑needs setting.
- Familiarity with various instructional methodologies for children presenting with a range of disabilities.
- Knowledge and experience using voice output systems.
- Completion of a master’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred). Recent graduates with or eligible for state licensure encouraged to apply.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

- Starting salary for a first‑year master’s‑level licensed teacher: $72,120 per year (salary range $77,287 to $110,647).
